Hua Hin resorts join forces for beachfront dining

Five of Hua Hin’s top resorts have come together to create a new beachfront dining experience.

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin, InterContinental Hua Hin Resort, Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas and Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, all of which are located along the coast in the Thai resort town, have join forces for the “Dine Along the Beach” experience, which launched on 1 June 2017.

The event saw diners make their way along the beach, from resort to resort, with each hotel creating one course of a five-course meal. Every course was paired with wine.

The four-hour journey started at Hyatt Regency Hua Hin with a starter of fresh Hua Hin scallops and smoked snapper, and was followed by a second starter of spinach cannelloni with braised cinnamon lamb at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa presented the first main course, a fillet of sea bass with crispy bacon and truffle potato mousseline, before a guests walked down the beach to Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin for the second main dish; slow-cooked beef short rib with German spatzle pasta.

The five-course meal concluded at Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa with a dessert of tap sakae coconut parfait and raspberries.

The “Dine Along the Beach” event will now take place on the first Thursday of every month until September 2017.
