Hyatt has signed an agreement to bring its Andaz brand to Southeast Asia for the first time.
Scheduled to open in 2016, the Andaz Bali will be a beachfront resort featuring a collection of low-rise buildings and pavilions. It will feature 144 rooms and villas, meeting facilities, multiple dining options, a fitness centre, several outdoor swimming pools and a spa.
The property is being developed by PT Wynncor Bali.
“We are delighted to introduce the Andaz brand to Indonesia, and honoured to strengthen our relationship with PT Wynncor Bali, a strong, experienced developer and the owner of Grand Hyatt Bali and Bali Hyatt, which is currently under renovation and will be rebranded as a Hyatt Regency,” said Ratnesh Verma, Hyatt’s senior vice president of real estate & development for Asia Pacific.
“Andaz Bali will be a great addition to the company’s resort portfolio.”
Hyatt currently operates one Andaz hotel in Asia, the Andaz Xintiandi Shanghai, but it also plan to launch the Andaz Tokyo Toranomon Hills this year.
