Hyatt has announced the opening of the Hyatt Centric South Beach Miami, a 105-room hotel that becomes only the second Hyatt Centric-branded property worldwide.
The company unveiled the new hotel concept in January this year, promising “full-service lifestyle” hotels catered towards “modern explorers”. And following the recent launch of the brand’s debut property in Chicago, Hyatt Centric has now arrived in Miami.
“We’re excited to introduce our newest brand, Hyatt Centric, to vibrant South Beach,” said Sandra Micek, Hyatt’s global senior vice president of brands. “Hyatt Centric South Beach is positioned to deliver on the brand’s commitment to put guests in the middle of the action and inspire them to explore the destination.”
Standard amenities at Hyatt Centric hotels include free Wi-Fi, Bluetooth-enabled TV systems and a “knock n’ grab” room service system, which negates the need for formal food delivery. They will also feature artworks, furniture and F&B designed to reflect the style of the destination.
Following the first two hotels, Hyatt plans to announce more Centric properties this summer in cities including New York, Paris and Atlanta.
