IDeaS expands Reputation Pricing solution in Asia

IDeaS Revenue Solutions has formed a new partnership with hotel reputation company, Revinate.
By integrating Revinate’s Online Reputation Management data into IDeaS’ Reputation Pricing solution, the hotel clients of both companies will be able to leverage online reputation data to improve their pricing and revenue management strategies.
The IDeaS system provides an additional layer of pricing, called ‘Reputation Best Available Rate’, as well as market-specific views of a hotel’s pricing against its reputation positions, based on Revinate’s reputation platform. Combining these data streams will allow hotels to identify and quantify the revenue opportunities of reputation-impacted pricing.
“Reputation data is crucially important for today’s hoteliers, for improving guest experiences and communicating their value to guests worldwide. It’s only now that hotels can leverage this data further and utilise their online reputation for making pricing decisions, at the point of decision-making,” said Sanjay Nagalia, chief operating officer at IDeaS.

Jay Ashton, chief executive officer at Revinate, added that the partnership with IDeaS “will allow users to better understand the correlations between reputation and revenue, and identify opportunities for improved pricing”.
IDeaS Reputation Pricing solution optimises and aligns a hotel’s BAR price with guests’ knowledge, expectations and willingness to pay.
