InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has continued to the expansion of its Holiday Inn Express brand in Southeast Asia, with the launch of a new property in Jakarta.
Located in the Pluit district of North Jakarta, the Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Pluit Citygate is a 297-room budget hotel.
“The Holiday Inn Express brand is our growth engine; we’re opening more of these hotels across the world than any of our other brands – on average we open two hotels a week globally,” said Alan Watts, IHG’s chief operating officer for Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMEA).
“Indonesia itself is an important market and is now home to five Holiday Inn Express hotels across Jakarta, Bali and Semarang. We look forward to welcoming 12 more over the next few years, giving more guests the chance to enjoy a refreshing and uncomplicated experience at a no-fuss hotel when travelling in Indonesia.”
The new Holiday Inn Express offers a range of guest-friendly amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and daily breakfast, plus power showers and a choice of hard or soft pillows. Facilities at the hotel include a self-service business centre, laundry room and a 24-hour fitness room.
Holiday Inn Express Jakarta Pluit Citygate becomes the brand’s 10th opening in Southeast Asia, its fifth in Indonesia and second in Jakarta.
