InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has opened two new Holiday Inn Express Hotels in India, located in Delhi and Chennai.
Holiday Inn Express Chennai is located on Old Mahabalipuram Road and offers 136 rooms, while Holiday Inn Express New Delhi is positioned at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport and has 93 rooms.
Both properties will feature Holiday Inn Express’ standard services, such as free Wi-Fi and breakfast, a choice of pillows, a self-service business centre and laundry room, and a 24-hour fitness centre.
“Holiday Inn Express is really gaining momentum in India as we continue to expand our brand portfolio across the country,” said Shantha de Silva, IHG’s head of Southwest Asia.
“The brand offers guests everything they need and nothing they don’t while being situated in easily accessible locations. We’re excited to be opening the doors of these two hotels and we’re confident they will be the number one choice for smart travellers visiting New Delhi and Chennai.”
IHG now operates its Holiday Inn Express brand in four Indian cities: Ahmedabad, Chennai, Delhi and Hyderabad.
