Social media communication with reps; WiFi on transfer buses and digital information screens are just some of the new technology offerings TUI is to place in Cyprus this summer for a technology trial.
The tour operator is to test a series of technology developments which will also include direct emails to reps; the chance to see welcome meetings online and more information on its MySites, while also making sure its overseas staff is ready to communicate with customers while on holiday efficiently.
Before heading out, each customer will receive a personal email from their rep to get started.
“We are very excited about the benefits this programme will bring to our customers. Just as we are differentiating our hotels, providing customers with holidays they cannot find elsewhere, we are doing the same with the service we provide,” said Ian Chapman, director of holiday experience at TUI UK & Ireland.
“We are mobilising our teams overseas and making them more accessible to holidaymakers, so they can further benefit and utilise their expertise before departing or whilst sat by the pool,” he added.
