India Aviation 2014 begins today

The fourth International Exhibition and Conference on Civil Aviation, India Aviation-2014 will commence
today at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad.
The airshow is organised jointly by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). This year, the theme of the country’s largest civil aviation exhibition will be ‘Enhancing Air Connectivity’.
Minister for Civil Aviation, Shri Ajit Singh will formally inaugurate the show on March 12 and Andhra Pradesh Governor, Shri E.S.L Narasimhan will be the chief guest at the opening ceremony.
This year, the state in focus is Karnataka, while the partner country is USA and the guest country is France. More than 250-exhibitors including Airbus, Boeing, Bombardier, Dassault and Rolls Royce are participating in the event. Biggest aircrafts in the world, Airbus A-380 and Dreamliner Boeing 787, will be special attractions at the premier air show. The show will be open for general public on 15 and 16 March. The initial three days are reserved exclusively for business community in which big deals are expected to be signed.
To mark the occasion, aerobatics flying display will be presented by two teams from London. There will be two shows every day.
