Between January to December 2013, the country received 68.48 lakh foreign visitors, registering a growth of 4.1% from 2012. India’s Foreign Exchange Earnings (FEEs) in 2013 stood at INR 105,836 crore, up 12% per cent from INR94,487 crore in 2012.

India received a total of 8.00 lakh arrivals in December 2013, a 6.3% rise from the number in December 2012. In the month, FEEs wereINR 11,680 crore, as compared with INR 10,549 crore in December 2012.
