Commencing this week, the airline will add a second daily service on the route from Delhi to Coimbatore, in southern India’s Tamil Nadu state, along with a third daily flight between Chennai and Coimbatore.
And IndiGo has also commenced a fifth daily flight on its east coast route between Chennai and Kolkata.
“2014 has been a great year for IndiGo and we promoted routes and connectivity that added immense value to our passengers’ travel in addition to a great flying experience,” said IndiGo’s president & executive director, Aditya Ghosh.
“With the announcement of these new flights, we feel encouraged by our customers’ support and feedback by our passengers, especially those from Coimbatore, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai,” he added.
