IndiGo has topped a survey on India’s most trusted airline with Air India coming in second.
The study, published by Trust Research Advisory, used three million data points and focused on 11 airlines, both domestic and international. Indigo was adjudged the most preferred carrier as it scored a 28% lead over the national carrier.
Air India was number one in 2011, but IndiGo made significant headway to take the 2012 title.
UAE-based carrier Emirates is the fourth most trusted carrier for Indians, while GoAIr claimed the fifth spot in the survey.
Spice Jet, Air France, Air Canada and British airways also made it to the list of top ten most preferred airlines by Indians.
