IHG has launched its luxury InterContinental hotel brand in Vietnamese resort town of Nha Trang.
The new InterContinental Nha Trang hotel overlooks Nha Trang Bay and offers 223 rooms and 56 suites, plus a range of upscale facilities.
These include a main restaurant featuring live cooking stations, plus a poolside bar overlooking the bay and a lobby lounge. There is also a spa, fitness centre, three swimming pools, a kids’ club and extensive conference and banqueting facilities, including a ballroom.
“InterContinental Nha Trang is our first hotel in Nha Trang and joins a stellar repertoire of three other… InterContinental properties in Vietnam. We have high expectations for this new property and are confident that all our guests will enjoy an authentic local experience at the hotel,” said Clarence Tan, IHG’s chief operating officer for Southeast Asia & resorts.
The opening of the InterContinental Nha Trang comes less than two years after the company opened another beachfront InterCon in Vietnam – the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort. The company also operates InterCons in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
