InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) will launch a new luxury hotel in Central Vietnam later this week.
Opening on Friday 1 June, the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is located on 600 metres of private beach, rising into the slopes of the Son Tra Peninsula, 20km from downtown Danang.
The 39-hectare luxury resort will include 197 guest rooms, including 16 Atrium Suites with large terraces and daybeds, six Seaside Villas with private pools and sundecks, two Spa Lagoon Retreat Villas, four Heavenly Penthouses with private pools, and one Royal Residence By The Sea, which comes with a separate dining area, bar and private pool.
All guestrooms come equipped with separate bathtubs and rainforest showers, along with flat screen TVs with a choice of 84 channels, iPod docking stations with BOSE sound systems, espresso machines and wine fridges.
Facilities at the resort include an international restaurant, Citron, French fine dining outlet La Maison 1888, the beachfront Barefoot Café and Long Bar, and a terrace lounge, the Buffalo Bar. There is also a spa, an outdoor floodlit sports field, watersport facilities, kids’ club and library.
Corporate guests will have access to an auditorium and other meeting facilities.
