ITC Hotels has announced its first five-star leisure retreat will open later this year.
ITC Grand Bharat is expected to open on 1 October 40 minutes from Delhi in the first of a new retreat collection for the Indian hotel group.
The hotel will have 100 suites some with alfresco terraces and others with private plunge pools. Four Presidential Villas will also be available with private pools and 24/7 butler service.
A golf course designed by Back Nicklaus will also feature along with a golf club and bar, while its signature Kaya Kalp – The Royal Spa will also feature.
There will be four dining outlets including the all-day restaurant Avavalli Pavilion; the India Room serving European dishes; the Peacock Bar & Cigar Divan and a poolside bar and lounge Camp Bharat.
It will also feature ITC’s first culinary school with courses available for guests.

A second retreat is due to open in mid 2015. ITC Vilasa will be located south of Chennai overlooking the Bay of Bengal. It will be ITC’s first beach resort.
Another four hotels are due to open by 2018.
