Ho Chi Minh City is gearing up to welcome international delegates for the 10th anniversary of the International Tourism Expo (ITE HCMC 2014).

The event is being held under the instruction by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City. The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates with Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, the City Tourism Association and Vinaxad/Infoma Company to jointly organize expo which will take place from 11-13 September 2014 at Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center – SECC.

The expo has grown gradually over the last 10 years with an annual growth by from 15% to 20%. The event has shown great development via presence of many big and potential markets and travel destinations. ITE HCMC will look to attract 200 international buyers from over 30 countries and territories, 100 local buyers (outbound travel agents from five countries), 20 international media and 350 sellers from countries across Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand, Netherland, England and Vietnam among others.

The exhibitors this year will include destinations and tourism products of 28 provinces and cities in the country including Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Ca Mau, Can Tho, Vinh Long, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Danang, Hue, Quang Nam, Dak Nong, Phu Yen, Kien Giang, Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Dak Lak.
