A passenger who became violent on an easyJet flight from Amsterdam to Liverpool, has been jailed for 15 months.
Michael Warrilow hurled abuse and attacked a police officer the Liverpool Crown Court heard, according to a report in the Liverpool Echo.
The man from Kirkdale was rummaging through the refreshments trolley and was asked to stop by the flight attendant, to which Warrilow replied, “Drop the f***ing attitude”.
The profanities continued and the police were called, but Warrilow broke a policeman’s thumb.
He pleaded guilty to causing actual bodily harm, a public order offence and two charges under the civil aviation act.
Warrilow has 65 previous convictions to his name.
