Jet Airways boosts Thailand flights

Jet Airways will boost its Kolkata-Bangkok flights during this summer season. Effective 10 May, the airline will add a second daily frequency on this route to cater the enhanced demand during the holiday season. The new daytime service, operated on a Boeing 737, will depart Kolkata at 1100hrs and arrive in Bangkok at 1510hrs. On the return leg, the airline will depart Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International airport at 1600hrs and arrive in Kolkata at 1705hrs. The new service will complement the existing night flight from Kolkata.
Commenting on the new services, Sudheer Raghavan, COO of Jet Airways said; “ With the increased flow of tourist and business traffic to and from Bangkok along with the growing seasonal demand this summer, we are pleased to provide this additional flights to meet the requirement of our guests. The new flights will meet the needs of corporate, MICE and leisure travellers.”
Jet Airways currently flies thrice daily to Bangkok from Mumbai and daily from New Delhi.
