Jet Airways to launch Kochi-Abu Dhabi

The Cochin International Airport Ltd has announced in a notification on Saturday that Jet Airways will start operations in a new sector.
The airline will operate from Abu Dhabi to Kochi via Kuwait from 16 May, 2013. The flight, operated daily with a Boeing 737 aircraft, will start from Abu Dhabi and arrive in Kochi via Kuwait at 0810 hours, while it will return to Abu Dhabi via Kuwait at 1755 hours.
According to CIAL authorities, with the introduction of Jet Airways service, the number of weekly flights to Kuwait from Kochi will rise to 17 from the present 10 flights. Air India and Kuwait Airways are the two airlines which operate in the Kochi-Kuwait sector, reported the Indian Express.
