Jet Airways will expand its Middle Eastern network this month with the launch of a new flight between Delhi and Muscat.
Commencing on 21 March 2016, the Indian airline will operate daily flights on the new route, using its two-class Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
Flights will initially depart Delhi each day at 2315, arriving in Muscat at 0130. The return flight will then leave the Omani capital at 0230 and arrive back in Delhi at 0700.
But from 27 March the timings will alter slightly, with a 2325 departure from Delhi and a 0245 return flight from Muscat.
“It is indeed a proud moment for us at Jet Airways to launch our maiden international flight between Delhi and Muscat,” said Gaurang Shetty, Jet’s senior vice president of commercial. “This is a significant milestone for enhancing the strong ties between India and the Sultanate of Oman. With the launch of this flight, Jet Airways guests from Northern India, SAARC and ASEAN regions will have the option of travelling to Oman via Delhi.”
Following the launch, Jet Airways will operate a total of four daily flights between India and Muscat, including other daily services from Mumbai, Kochi and Thiruvananthapuram.
