Are you experienced within the sales industry with impeccable leadership skills and strive for success in your career? Then we have a great opportunity for you! GCS Recruitment are searching for a Channel Account Manager to work with one of the leading, global software companies in Germany. Responsibilities:
- Managing and maintaining existing partners and recruiting new partners to increase sales growth
- Coordinating with partners identifying key sales opportunities to generate revenue
- Developing partner specific sales and marketing plans to increase marketing and selling efforts
- Liaising with marketing to drive lead generation campaigns with partners
- Driving new deal registration with partners
- Evaluating partner sales performance and recommending improvements
- Educating & training partners about product portfolio and complimentary services offered
- Communicating with partners regarding up-to-date information about new products and enhancements
- Liaising with partners and distribution to develop sale proposals, quotations, and pricings
- Overseeing large deals and end user accounts in the designated area
- Coordinating with partners, developing joint business plan to mutually agree with business objectives
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years sales experience
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar field is a must
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in start-up culture and leadership position
- Successful experience selling for a technology start-up
- Working knowledge of Windows Server / Citrix is preferred
- Working knowledge of remote access technology is preferred
- Active user skills with Salesforce.com
- Excellent communication skills; both written and verbal
- Great knowledge in the German and English language
- Working knowledge of mobile applications and cloud-based solutions is preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and great negotiation skills
- A professional and positive attitude towards work
- Ability to keep organised and calm under pressure when faced with tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and within a team
