JW Marriott has opened a new luxury resort in Anji, a scenic area in eastern China’s Zhejiang province.
The new 228-room JW Marriott Hotel Zhejiang Anji is located within the Phoenix International Golf Course complex, close to Anji’s famous bamboo forests.
Designed as a resort destination for residents of Shanghai, the resort provides an array of leisure facilities, including two restaurants, a health club, fitness centre, a heated indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi. For the MICE market the property also features a 573m² ballroom and five meeting rooms.
“We are proud to introduce the 11th JW Marriott property in China. The decision to bring the JW Marriott brand to Anji was simple; we want our guests to experience the unique charm and rich culture of this remarkable area,” said Henry Lee, Marriott‘s chief operations officer for Greater China.
“For those who like to mix business and leisure, we offer a one-of-a-kind experience, all in close proximity to both Shanghai and Hangzhou. Above all, the new JW Marriott Hotel Zhejiang Anji is a destination for relaxation and inspiration.”
The new Anji resort joins existing JW Marriott properties in Beijing, Chongqing, Macau, Hangzhou, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Zhengzhou.
