Kenya Airways will be showcasing its modern fleet during the Kenya Air Show Festival. The event is scheduled to be held on 21 December 2013 to mark the 50th anniversary of Kenya’s Independence.
Aviation enthusiast can grab a view of the latest Boeing 787 Dreamliner, which will be on static display at the Wilson Airport in Nairobi. The festival is being billed the largest festival of its kind in Africa. Additionally, Kenya Airways’ Embraer E190 jet will be amongst aircraft featuring in the air display which also includes, Kenya Air Force, South African Air Force, helicopters, skydivers and a raft of private and commercial pilots.
Kenya Airways’ group managing director and chief executive officer Titus Naikuni said: “The Air Show is an opportunity to celebrate achievements that the airline has made so far. Today, we have the most modern fleet in Africa; and are looking forward to enhancing it further with the expected delivery of two more 777-300ER aircraft and the Dreamliner in 2014.”
