Khiri Travel, the Asian DMC, has created two new full-day tours in Myanmar.
The new itineraries both focus on the ancient city of Bagan, which dates back almost a millennium and is home to more than 2,000 Buddhist temples and monuments.
Firstly, the “Mandalay to Bagan” trip starts with a morning public bus ride from Mandalay to the market in Pakkoku. Guests then board a private boat on the Irrawaddy River, which cruises to Kyauk Gu Ohnmin cave temple and then on to Bagan.
The “Hidden Bagan” trip meanwhile, offers an “off-the-beaten-track” tour of Bagan’s famous temples, with a car and guide.
The two new trips can be combined with two existing Khiri Travel Myanmar experiences: the half-day “Bagan Food” trip and “Dry Zone Safari”, which uses a 4×4 vehicle explore traditional villages.
