Ukraine’s capital Kiev has been named as the rising European destination for Brits in a new TripAdvisor survey.
The European city was followed by Moscow, Turin and St Petersburg in the top 10 list, which also included Naples, Glasgow, Manchester, Belfast, Valencia and Liverpool.
Kiev was third in the global list of rising destinations behind Mar Del Plata, Argentina in first place and Sao Paulo in second. Others in the world top 10 included Montevideo, Perth, Mexico City, Hobart, Guadalajara, Moscow and Turin.
“Not only has traveller interest in their destination increased, but each city has also seen an increase in positive feedback on their hotels, restaurants and things to do,” said Emma Shaw from TripAdvisor on the poll.
