Foreign tourists in South Korea are spending less while holidaying in the country, the Korea Herald has reported. According to Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), the average spending by overseas tourists was US$1,161, down US$142 from US$1,393 in the same period last year.
The KTO reported also found that Singaporeans were the highest spenders, with an average of US$1,789 while Japanese and Chinese tourists spent under US$1,000.
