Kuwait Airways will launch direct flights to the Indian cities of Ahmedabad and Bengaluru.
Commencing in early September, the Gulf carrier will operate three weekly flights on the route.
Services depart Kuwait International Airport every Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday at 2305, arriving in Ahmedabad at 0520 the next morning. The return services will then leave the Gujarat city at 0620 every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, getting back into Kuwait City at 0800.
Kuwait Airways said these timings would offer Indian passengers connections to onward flights to destinations in “Europe, US, and Middle East”.
The route will be operated using Kuwait Airways’ two-cabin Airbus A320 aircraft, featuring 20 seats in business class and 110 in economy.
Ahmedabad becomes Kuwait Airways’ new destination in India, following Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi and Kochi.
