Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board (L A Tourism) has announced its partnership with Four Communications for a presence in the Middle East.
“We are delighted to upscale our efforts in the Middle East, having identified the region as a key market for LA in which we are witnessing a significant increase in outbound travel,” said Ernest Wooden Jr, president and CEO of LA Tourism. “We are on track to reach our goal of 50 million visitors by 2020 and are confident that welcoming more Middle Eastern travelers to LA will help us achieve this.”
In 2014, 128,000 Middle Eastern travelers visited LA, accounting for approximately US$410m in direct spending.
