The launch of services by Gulf carriers to Phuket has opened up access to the island for holidaymakers throughout the GCC countries.

Daily services by Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways’ daily flights, makes the island easily accessible by families and adventure-seekers alike.

Building on this growth, Laguna Phuket, a nine luxury hotel and villa properties linked by fleets of water ferries and buses, complete with an 18-hole golf course, five world-class spas, boutique shopping and a unique waterfront glass-walled Wedding Chapel is keen to tap into this region.

Debbie Dionysius, Laguna Phuket’s assistant vice president of Destination Marketing, said: “The growth of airline services is particularly exciting for us as we are engaging with both Arab and expatriate holidaymakers in these important markets. In addition to all the resort facilities, our in-house Laguna Tours can organise trips around the island, from jungle elephant trekking to nightlife clubbing, as well as speedboat tours among others.”
