New team members at Dertour, Pitchup.com and more.

 

Ian Cutts has been appointed key account manager at Dertour. Reporting to head of sales Lawrence Peachey, Cutts will be on the road to visit agents, offer product training and marketing support. He has previously held roles at Thomas Cook, Jet2holidays and Sunmaster.

 

Barbara Cummings has been named B2B marketing manager at Pitchup.com. Having previously worked at HomeAway and travel start-ups, Cummings will be responsible maintaining and adding to its list of more than 200 bookable sites. In addition, Gemma Chase has been announced as B2C marketing manager having worked at TUI, lastminute.com, Teletext and Take the Family.

 

Caroline Lewis has joined InterContinental London Park Lane as business development manager for groups and leisure. She previously work at the Copthorne Tara Hotel, Kensington where she was MICE sales executive and will now drive and develop business from Europe. Lucy Sikora has been promoted to business development UK MICE having worked across several Marriott hotels.

 

Peter Manby has been appointed revenue director at Travelodge. Manby was most recently chief operating officer at Mint Hotels and has also held roles at Marriott, Hilton and De Vere. In his new position, Manby will oversee its pricing model and strategy.

 

Lionel Yeo has been named chief executive of the Singapore Tourism Board. Yeo will take on the new role on 1 June when current boos Aw Kah Peng steps down to pursue personal interests. Yeo currently works for the Public Service Division in Singapore’s Prime Minister’s office.

 

Andrew McLouglin has been appointed general manager at Jurys Inn Aberdeen. Previously general manager at Jurys Inn Derby, McLoughlin and aged 29 is one of the group’s youngest managers. He joined the chain after completing his degree.

 

Thirayuth Chirathivat has been named as the new chief executive officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts. A Thai national, Chirathivat has more than 21 years’ hotel experience, most recently as Centara’s senior vice president for Project Management.
