Lemon Tree Hotels has launched its 18th property in Chandigarh. The 81-room Lemon Tree Hotel Chandigarh offers conference facilities, a business
centre, gym, mini-spa and a rooftop swimming pool as well as a 24-hour coffee shop – Citrus Café.
“We are delighted to add Chandigarh to Lemon Tree’s footprint and this is our first property in Punjab. Chandigarh is not only the hub of administration but also a growing commercial destination. Lemon Tree will ride this growth wave too and cater to the city’s business and transit passengers,” said Lemon Tree Hotel’s President and COO, Rahul Pandit.
The group now owns and operates an inventory of 1,696 rooms across 18 properties in India. By December 2012, the hotel company targets 3,600 rooms in 26 hotels across 16 cities.
