Lufthansa announces new Beirut-Berlin service

Lufthansa German Airlines recently announced its new three weekly non-stop services between Beirut and Berlin, providing further boost to the airline’s destination and capacity. The new flight, LH3485 to be operated with an Airbus A320, will commence on June 4th departing at 04.45am from Rafik Hariri International Airport to Berlin’s Tegel Airport.
As part of the launch, Lufthansa has announced discounted fares starting from for one-way and return flights from including taxes and fees on sale now until August 31st, 2013 and valid for departure from June 4th, 2012 to August 31st, 2013.
“Both cities have a lot to offer in terms of culture, art, entertainment and night life – both great destinations now connected. The direct flight to Berlin also complements our established services to Frankfurt,” said Colette Acra, general manager, Lufthansa German Airlines in Lebanon.
With the additional flights to Berlin, Lufthansa will now offer a total of 15 weekly non-stop flights connecting Beirut to Frankfurt and Berlin.
