Malaysia Airlines has used the World Travel Market (WTM) in London to unveil its new business class seats.
The new seats, which will be fitted to the airline’s fleet of 15 Airbus A330-300 aircraft, are 52cm wide and have a pitch of 109cm. They recline to form 193cm-long full-flat beds.
Configured in a 1-2-1 layout, all seats will offer direct aisle access. They also come equipped with Panasonic in-flight entertainment systems with 16-inch touchscreen monitors.
“We are very excited to be introducing this latest product from Malaysia Airlines. The new seats and configuration have been designed to give a superb space for work, play or sleep. All of our A330 business class seats will now feature fully-flat beds allowing our guests the ultimate in comfort and versatility,” said Malaysia Airlines’ group CEO, Christoph Mueller.
“This product will make us more competitive against other full-service carriers and is part of the airline’s push to be more customer centric, offering new, personalised and innovative products.”
All of Malaysia Airlines’ A330-300 aircraft feature 27 seats in business class and 263 in economy.
