Mandarin Oriental has used the recent renovation of its famous old hotel in Bangkok to create the group’s first “spa studio” – a new concept designed for people wanting less time-consuming spa treatments.
Located on the first floor of the Mandarin Oriental Bangkok’s newly-refurbished Garden Wing, the spa studio comprises four private rooms and offers a range of express treatments, from facials to waxings to foot, shoulder and head messages. The hotel said the concept is “ideal for guests who want to make the most of their time”.
At present, the main spa at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is located across the river from the main hotel building, and requires a boat transfer.
“We are very pleased to open the Group’s first spa studio at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok,” said Jeremy McCarthy, Mandarin Oriental’s group director of spa. “The hotel has always been at the forefront of the latest spa and wellness trends, and the spa studio concept offers guests the option to experience the most effective beauty treatments even when on a tight schedule.
“We plan to open further Spa Studios in relevant Mandarin Oriental destinations, with the next opening scheduled for Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, following the completion of the hotel’s renovation in 2018.”
The spa studio at Mandarin Oriental Bangkok is now open daily from 10am to 8pm.
