Marriott International debuts Delta Hotels in APAC region

Shanghai, China – Delta Hotels, a brand under Marriott International officially enters the Asia-Pacific region by introducing its first hotel in the country.
Delta Hotels by Marriott Shanghai Baoshan in China is a 339-room hotel that boasts of a remarkable Georgian-inspired design. Its recent inauguration is part of Marriott International’s plan of operating a total of 66 Delta properties by the end of this year.
Close to downtown Shanghai, the new hotel is situated in the city’s waterfront Baoshan district, anchored near the mouth of Huangpu River. It’s a five-minute drive from the futuristic Wusongkou International Cruise Terminal, which can accommodate 3.6 million cruise passengers every year.

Its dining options range from casual American style at the Lotus All Day Dining Restaurant to succulent grilled steaks at The Kitchen, sophisticated dining at TRU, and authentic Cantonese cuisine served at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. There are also freshly-baked pastries available all day at the Lobby Lounge. And for those craving for signature Delta Hotels cocktails, they are offered at the sleek DWB bar.
Inside the hotel is a stunning 1,200 square metre Grand Ballroom with state-of-the-art audio and video equipment to cater for a variety of events and occasions.
Marriott International adopted the Delta Hotels brand in 2015 along with its portfolio of more than 40 hotels. It’s now the biggest hotel company in the world with over 6,400 properties in 126 countries.
