Marriott Hotels in Jordan joined forces with the Jordan Applied University (JAU), American Express (AMEX) and Jett Buses for a clean-up campaign at the RSCN – Dibeen Forest Reserve in the Jarash Governorate.

Bassam Maayeh, managing director of the owning companies of Marriott Hotels in Jordan, talked about the importance of taking care of the environment for the next generation. He pointed out the importance of encouraging the young generation to participate in activities that would serve our local community and at the same time steer them away from using their energy in destructive activities such as violence.

This activity enhanced the corporate social responsibility image of the participating institutes, not only within the local community, but it encompassed environmental awareness within the global sphere. This campaign was targeted towards increasing the participants’ awareness of the importance of taking care of our environment and keeping it free from litter and pollution, which is part of the “Marriott Spirit to Preserve” initiative.
