Marriott International has opened bookings for its two new luxury hotels in Macau.
The new JW Marriott Macau and Ritz-Carlton Macau are both set to open in 27 May 2015, as part of the Galaxy Macau integrated resort. They will mark Marriott’s first two properties in the Chinese gaming hub.
“The opening of these two new hotels at the Galaxy Macau integrated resort will redefine the standard of luxury in Macau,” said Rauf Malik, vice president of operations for both properties.
“Our new Asia flagship hotel will serve as the new benchmark for the JW Marriott brand… [and] the facilities and services at the Ritz-Carlton Macau are second to none.”
The new JW Marriott Macau will feature a total of 1,015 rooms and suites, and will offer access to Galaxy Macau’s 75,000m² Grand Resort Deck, which includes the world’s biggest rooftop wave pool, the world’s longest rooftop rapids and a white sandy beach. There will also be 2,700m² of meeting space.
The Ritz-Carlton Macau meanwhile, will offer 250 suites on the top floors of the integrated resort, plus an outdoor pool and spa.
Once open, the new hotels will join the existing Galaxy Macau, Okura Macau and Banyan Tree Macau in the integrated resort.
