MAS adds daytime service to Mumbai

Malaysian Airlines (MAS) is increasing its frequency from Kuala Lumpur into Mumbai to 12 times weekly.
Following a greater demand from the market, one additional service has been added to the current daytime schedule. From 3 June 2013, daytime services from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai on flight MH174 will depart every Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sunday, with Monday being the new day in the schedule.
Dr Hugh Dunleavy, Director of Commercial at MAS said, “South Asia, especially India, is a key market to Malaysia Airlines and we continuously strive to enhance our guests’ experience on-board. We are deploying our newest B738 aircraft on this route to bring the comfort level of guests to a higher level.”
“New aircraft with modern interiors, great in-flight entertainment and authentic Indian in-flight cuisine adds to our offering,” Dunleavy added. The airline also offers 30kg of checked-in baggage for Economy and 40kg for Business class.
The airline operates to five stations in India – New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
