MAS to drop ASEAN fuel surcharges

Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will cut its fuel surcharge by up to 60% for travel within Southeast Asia, starting with the Kuala Lumpur-Bangkok route next Wednesday, according to Bernama.
MAS’ Senior General Manager - Sales, Bernard Francis, said that the levy for the Thai route would be reduced from US$75 to US$27, while reduction for other ASEAN routes would be announced next week.
