Mihin Lanka Airlines has confirmed that it will launch services to the Pakistani city of Lahore next month.

Commencing on 17 November 2014, the Sri Lankan airline will operate three weekly flights direct from Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo to Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The flights will be operated using a 180-seat Airbus A320 aircraft and take approximately four hours 15 minutes.

The new service will mark Mihin Lanka’s first route to Pakistan. Sister carrier SriLankan Airlines already operates services to Karachi.
