Minor Hotel Group has unveiled plans for its fifth Oaks property in Melbourne.
Set to open within the next two months, the Oaks Pinnacle is a new-build 10-storey extended stay hotel located in the city’s South Yarra district.
Upon completion, the upscale property will feature a range of one-bedroom apartment units, all including kitchens, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and balconies. There will also be a ground floor cafe and a rooftop terrace with barbeque facilities.
“We are always looking for new and unique development opportunities in order to offer the modern-day traveller central, self-contained accommodation in key city and resort locations,” said Daniel Csortan, Oaks’ general manager for sales.
“Oaks Pinnacle has provided us with an excellent opportunity to increase our exposure in the Melbourne serviced apartment accommodation market and we are now one of the largest accommodation providers in Melbourne.”
Oaks Pinnacle is the second new-build Melbourne hotel to open under the Oaks Hotels & Resorts banner in the past 12 months, and will take the brand’s total portfolio to 46 properties, including five in Melbourne.
Oaks was acquired by Thailand’s Minor International in 2011.
