In an effort to enhance passenger experience Abu Dhabi Airports is further enhancing the airport’s accessibility by offering golf carts to passengers with wheelchairs.

The golf carts are based in Terminals 1 and 3 and will assist in transporting passengers with reduced mobility between the departure and arrival halls, and the aircraft gates.

Ahmad Al Haddabi, chief operations officer, Abu Dhabi Airports said: “The new specialized golf carts for persons with reduced mobility is yet another innovative service that we will continue to provide growing number of passengers and visitors flying through the airport.”

The airport also offers specialized ramps, rails, and e-Gates designed for persons with reduced mobility at its airports to ensure comfort and accessibility.
