MSC Cruises has joined forces with international chocolatier and founder of the world’s first chocolate themed hotel, Gerry Wilton for a chocoholic cruise. Wilton will be joining the MSC Opera on its 11-day Baltic cruise on 13 May from Southampton, which will the ship transformed into a chocolate factory.
Over four days Wilton will host hour-long chocolate classes at 11 am and 3 pm where guests will learn about the history of chocolate; production process; taste samples from all over the world and even paint the portraits in white and dark chocolates which they can get framed and take away.
They will sample chocolate cocktails, learn how to make moulded chocolates and Belgian truffles and simply enjoy every calorie-laden minute of the cruise. Rates start from £559 per person, while all four chocolate lessons cost £30 per person all in.
