MTDC to celebrate World Tourism Day

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) will celebrate World Tourism Day on 27 September. The state will offer free entry to tourists at water park in Karla. The guests visiting MTDC resorts on World Tourism Day all over Maharashtra will be gifted with special souvenirs and gift hampers that will resonate the memory of visitors.
The state will also launch photography and videography competition for tourists. The regional offices will also conduct this competition in the respective regions of Mumbai, Pune, Ratnagiri, Nashik, Aurangabad and Nagpur.
Dr. Jagdish Patil, Managing Director of MTDC, said, “We are proud to be a part of the World Tourism Day festivities and have organized a one day free entry in our Karla water park to celebrate the essence of World Tourism Day. The regional photo and video competition will bring to fore the untapped beauty and unlimited tourism potential of the state.”
