The Myanmar Hospitality & Tourism Conference (MHTC) will return this summer, to discuss the trends and opportunities in one of the world’s fastest-growing tourism destinations.
Taking place to Nay Pyi Taw from 8-10 June, the three-day conference will include a series of workshops and events discussing the various elements of Myanmar’s tourism industry, including HR, the development of the hospitality sector, investment, marketing and branding, and online travel.
“The industry has grown much since the first edition of this conference [in 2013]. In fact, there’s still more room to grow and we welcome investors to join in this upward momentum,” said U Htay Aung, Myanmar’s Minister of Hotels & Tourism.
“With a refreshed program, MHTC 2015 remains the industry’s key conference as current challenges faced by the industry is being addressed by visionaries and experts from all over the world while opportunities are made known to all interested parties,” he added.
Speakers at this year’s event will include Ryan Chen, Dusit International‘s director of development for Asia Pacific, Franck Droin, GM of the Hotel Kempinski Nay Pyi Taw and Suparat Chirathivat, Centara‘s vice president of business development.
