Tropical Sky has announced its part-funded new all-inclusive hotel in Barbados will open this summer after seeing an increase in demand for the product.
The SoCo Hotel is exclusively available through the Caribbean specialists and is a three-star plus Art Deco-inspired property in Bridgetown. It will open on 15 August this year with 24 rooms looking over the Caribbean Sea.
Despite concerns over the all-inclusive model on communities, Mike Collins, managing director of Tropical Sky has predicted a demand for holidays in Barbados as its hotel product develops with the cost conscious traveller in mind.
“Customers are increasingly demanding higher quality as well as exceptional value and the island has needed to respond to this,” he explained. “The SoCo Hotel is set to meet these demands and we are delighted to be the driving force behind this. It is often the most simple of things that the modern traveller requires that makes the difference, such as Wi-Fi, and that is why we are including free Wi-Fi connectivity for our guests”.
