A new booking app will soon be launched that offers unlimited flights on major airlines for a flat monthly fee.
OneGo, which is targeted at business travellers, offers users the chance to buy a series of monthly packages which offer unlimited air travel within the United States. Prices start from US$1,500 per month.
The company said the new app would “transform the booking experience and empower business travellers to take flight as often as they need”.
“Booking air travel is incredibly overwhelming,” said OneGo’s founder & CEO, Paulius Grigas. “When you search for flights today, you are presented with so many options that make finding the best flight very difficult. When you take price out of the equation, and replace it with a flat monthly fee, you gain the freedom to fly as much as you need for your business without having to consider anything other than your flight’s arrival and departure times.”
OneGo allows its members to book US domestic flights on more than 500 routes, using major airlines. No long-term commitment is required and the monthly plan can be cancelled at any time. Customers can choose from three regional plans and one national plan with more than 700,000 daily seat options and flights to and from 76 major US airports.
And in the near future, OneGo said it plans to add functionality that allows users to customise their plans, with a series of “add-ons” including unlimited flight booking changes and last-minute bookings.
Following the initial launch of the mobile app on 1 February 2016, OneGo says it plans to add a desktop platform later this year.
