New Appointments

LIZ REGAN has joined HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings as director HR and training, moving to Dubai from Abu Dhabi. In Abu Dhabi, she spent nearly five years as director of training at Emirates Palace in charge of rolling out corporate training initiatives. She was responsible for the development and training programmes for over 1200 staff members as well as development of a departmental trainer system.

FERGHAL PURCELL has been appointed general manager at The Ajman Palace Hotel & Resort – managed by HMH-Hospitality Management Holdings. Ferghal has extensive experience of resort management in both South Africa and Ireland, having started his career as food and beverage manager for the pre-opening team of The Lord Charles Hotel in the Cape Province, later going on to become General Manager when he played host to Nelson Mandela during the country’s reconciliation peace talks.

MUSTAFA AL JUNDI has been appointed sales and marketing director for Millennium Hotel Mussanah. He brings with him over 20 years’ experience in the tourism, leisure and hospitality market.

SEBASTIAN GOY has been appointed as director of sales at Millennium Abu Dhabi. Goy has held a number of key roles in the UAE, most recently at Dusit Thani. Goy’s strong background in the European hospitality industry paired with senior sales positions in Dubai will complement his appointment as director of sales for Millennium Hotel Abu Dhabi.

ZIAD BOUJABERAS has been promoted to executive assistant manager in charge of sales and marketing at Marina Hotel Kuwait. He brings with him over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In his new role, he will not only support his prior duties, but will also assist in development of strategies and carryout sales and marketing activities to maximize hotel revenue.

HANI ABU LAFI has been appointed director of sales and marketing at Four Seasons Amman. In his new position, Hani takes on a key role where he will develop and implement dynamic and creative sales and marketing strategies that support the success of Four Seasons Hotel Amman.

TONY TANNOUS has been promoted to assistant food and beverage manager in charge of banquet, HOUSSAM ABOU DARGHAM has been promoted to restaurants manager, MOHAMED RASHAN promoted to executive housekeeper and AHMED ELFEKY promoted to assistant personnel manager.
