A new organisation looking to increase tourism from the UK to Greece has launched.
Marketing Greece has been created by the country’s private sector working closely with its Ministry of Tourism and the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), and will work with Hills Balfour in the UK to drive tourism and business.
With additional backing by the Association of Greek Tourism Enterprises, the Hellenic Chamber of Hotels and the Association of Greek Advertising Companies, the promotional strategy will include various traditional and digital elements including social media.
“Tourism is a hugely important industry for Greece and we want to ensure that we are 100% committed to putting Greece back on the map and demonstrating to the British that there is always more to discover, whether it be on one of the Greek islands or on the mainland,” said Marketing Greece’s general manager Iossif Parsalis.
