Hard Rock International will launch its second cafe in Cambodia, the Phnom Penh Post reports.
The newspaper cited Meas Development Holding, the sole franchise holder for Hard Rock in Cambodia, as saying that the new venue will open before the end of the year, occupying a two-storey unit in Phnom Penh’s new Exchange Square building.
It have a capacity of 370 people, including a 75-seat outdoor terrace, a VIP room and a Hard Rock gift shop.
Like all Hard Rock Cafes around the world, the Phnom Penh outlet will include a display of music memorabilia from famous local and international artists.
The new location will become the second Hard Rock Cafe in Cambodia, following the existing outlet in Siem Reap, the gateway to Angkor Wat. Unlike the Siem Reap café however, where the vast majority of guests are tourists, the Phnom Penh outlet is expected to cater more to the local market.
