Passengers departing from Terminal 1 of Changi International Airport will now be able to access a new lounge.
Operated by dnata, the new 860m² lounge can seat more than 200 passengers, while facilities include a dining area, showers, a coffee and cocktail bar and work areas.
The facility will be available to qualifying passengers travelling with Cathay Pacific, Air France, KLM, Delta Air Lines, Finnair, AirAsia, Air Mauritius, Bangkok Airways, Drukair and Myanmar Airways International.
“dnata’s new Terminal 1 lounge is a premium product designed to exceed the expectations of travellers when flying out of one of the world’s top airports,” said Mark Edwards, CEO of dnata Singapore. “Our airline customers and passengers took time to tell us what they wanted to see in a new lounge and we listened.
“We have incorporated many aspects of the feedback in our new lounge, from ease of access, selection of food and beverage to the all-important changing points for electronics,” he added.
The new lounge has been designed with a “pan-Asian theme” and includes Singaporean and Asian cuisine. dnata has also partnered with Hudson’s Coffee to provide passengers with high quality coffee. Seats come equipped with universal power outlets and USB ports, and Wi-Fi is complimentary throughout the lounge.
The dnata lounge will be open from 0330 to 0230 seven days a week and is expected to accommodate more than 250,000 passengers per year.
